This is Not Art is proud to introduce the first Interactive Art Festival in London! Yes, you heard it, in LONDON!
LIMINAL BOUNDARIES is a one-day Interactive Art Festival in the heart of the arty South-East London hub. After many successful events in Italy, This is Not Art has landed in the UK, with the same concept and intention; the interaction with Art. The location is a massive and beautiful pub, The Brookmill, situated in Deptford, that will host the Festival on Saturday the 11th of November, from 5pm.
As usual, we are mixing up all kinds of art: there will be a Function Room with music and performance, a small room for short films, three indoor spaces for artworks and two outdoor spaces (with live painting too!)
Liminal Boundaries is a celebration of individualism, but within a common space, as we believe it should be. In a time where everyone appears to be fighting for their own independence, we must come together and oppose mass control from corporation. We are celebrating all the arts, embracing differences without preference. With interactive elements, an audience can create a dialogue with artists, filmmakers, performers and musicians. Art is not for a specialised niche of people; art is and should be for everyone. Art can be touched, it can be explained and it can be funny!
With this in mind, we have built up a team of artists to stimulate the minds of the audience. The program is very exciting; you can find traditional and experimental music, theatre from different continents, documentaries of Londoners’ struggles, playful performances and much more!
